MADISON, WISCONSIN – BouMatic, a global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of high quality milking systems and dairy equipment, unveiled its SmartDairy Activity module, their newest addition to its SmartDairy Management System at World Dairy Expo 2011 in Madison, Wisconsin.

“The focus of SmartDairy is on superior cow management and quality milk production,” said Parimal Rajkondawar, Senior Brand Manager.  SmartDairy takes BouMatic’s world class dairy equipment and proven best milking practices and manages them through a fully integrated, high performance control and monitoring system,” he added.

“Today, the newest addition to the SmartDairy family is our Activity module,” Rajkondawar said.  “SmartDairy Activity utilizes the newest generation of ISO RFID information technology to deliver a robust, system to help dairy operators identify when a cow is ready for breeding.  More efficient reproduction means lower costs and higher profits,” he added.

SmartDairy from BouMatic is the dairy industry’s only fully integrated dairy management system that has been engineered in modules to allow dairy operators the freedom and flexibility to build a management system that is ideally suited to their dairy.  As a dairy grows, management capability can be added with SmartDairy modules.

“SmartDairy is built on a modular concept that provides dairy owners the option to start with desired modules and expand into a complete dairy management system as their operations evolve,” Rajkondawar said. “Our new Activity module is the latest in a line of modules that form to create the ultimate dairy management platform.  Best of all, SmartDairy will integrate into any size dairy using any brand of milking equipment,” he added.
